Transitioning a horse to barefoot is an individual process unique to every horse. It is a journey that can be life changing for both you and your horse.
It is important to give your horse the most natural lifestyle possible....this includes but is not limited to a balanced barefoot trim, a properly fitted saddle, supplements and herbs, regular dental checkups, body work, regular exercise, turn out, herd lifestyle, regular Veterinarian checkups, grass hay and a small amount of whole oats, access to fresh water and salt at all times.
At our home place we offer specialized board and care for critically foundered, laminitic and Navicular horses that are in need of special daily attention. Please call for a free consultation and boarding rates.
